Photopia Seminars

LTI Optics offers in-depth product seminars for Photopia. These comprehensive seminars give you hands-on experience using real-world projects. All of our trainings are private for your company, which allows us to cover the material that's important to you, at your pace, and work on projects that are specific to your product line.

    Private Seminars

    These seminars are developed to provide focused training on the topics that you are most interested in. These seminars can be scheduled here at LTI or at your office.

    Photopia training covers the following topics:

    • Illumination fundamentals and terminology
    • How Photopia works
    • Material reflectance/transmittance properties
    • Luminaire modeling in external CAD software
    • Photopia's internal CAD system
    • Analyzing the luminaire in Photopia
    • Evaluating the photometric output
    • Parametric Optical Design Tools
    • Reviewing your specific interests and examples

    Our standard seminars are two days. This allows time to cover the lighting fundamentals and basics of Photopia on the first day, and then work on your own projects the second day. Additional days are available if you want to cover a wider range of products, or push a particular design further along.
