CAD Support
Photopia has its own internal CAD system which can import and export from a variety of formats. In general, Photopia can import DWG/DXF and STL drawings and export DXF and DWG drawings. The support for these file types allows Photopia to be used with the following leading CAD packages:
The following are some tips for working with Photopia's CAD system.
- LTI Optics is an independently owned company that creates the Photopia optical design software and provides optical design consulting services. LTI Optics was created to continue the optics business of Lighting Technologies, Inc. (LTI) after its sale to Musco Sports Lighting.
- Photopia supports .stl files, so if your CAD program can generate them, you can import them into Photopia. Find specific instructions for your software to the left.
